Is there a converter to get USB mic to work on mobo's mic in port?

I am currently using a Audio Technica AT2020USB+ microphone. I am seeing noticeable mouse performance improvements by reducing the number of devices running on USB ports and want to try to get my microphone off if its USB port.

I dare say its possible but there are no guarantees the results will be favourable. The only way to plug a USB mic into an analog input, without using a host device, is to discard the mics own ADC convertor and modify the microphone to directly access the analog signal from the mic capsule.

You'd probably be much better of not making your USB mic worthless and just buying an analogue mic.
