I've been trying to update my Head-Fi profile for most of the morning. Every time I make my changes, and then hit "Save", the screen turns dark and I get a "Please wait" message or something like that, but it never stops and never saves.

With the latest updates, the "Headphone" section of my profile alone would be over 10,000 characters. I tried cutting it below 10,000, but it still wouldn't save/update.

I've been on Head-Fi for years and never had a problem like this before. Any ideas?

Best regards,
Adam

Thanks, Joe. I don't suppose there is any way to lift that? My profile is...ummmm.....long and getting longer. Several people have told me they find it a very useful reference, so I'd like to keep it going...

I've also been having problems updating my profile, but I'm no where near the character limit. I've tried updating my profile in both Chrome and Internet Explorer and no matter what I do, after I hit save I can wait hours and I still get the "Please wait..." message and nothing happens. All I have done is attempted to update my "About Me" and "Other Audio Equipment".

On another note, this probably isn't quite the right thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

After many attempts of the exact same entries, I finally got an error explaining that my "About Me" can't exceed 100 characters. After shortening my "About Me", I was able to save without a problem.

I've been using Google Chrome 26.0.1410.4 m and Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16521 on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

This was my old profile
