I am looking to get a 4 pin xlr cable for my Hifiman Arya, but I'm wondering if I can get away with buying a cheap one amazon or is it better to buy a higher quality one and if so where? I think past 60$ is when it'd start getting a little absurd, for me obviously. rec? thanks!

You can most certainly get away with buying a cheap one on Amazon. If you live in North America, I'd recommend https://hartaudiocables.com as well. They have very nice cables for fair prices (4-Pin XLR balanced cable is $58). I'd still recommend them if you live somewhere else but shipping costs starts getting a bit silly if you just wanna buy one cable.

Hart is solid, as is Blue Jeans Cable. There's also World's Best Cables on Amazon. Good quality basic stuff, cheap.

WORLDS BEST CABLES 6 Foot – Quad Balanced Microphone Cable Custom Made Using Mogami 2534 Wire and Neutrik NC3MXX-B Male & NC3FXX-B Female XLR Plugs. https://a.co/d/i83ousF

EDIT: Wait - that's not a headphone cable (though you can get one from Hart, and maybe Blue Jeans), that's a balanced interconnect, like for between a DAC and amp. I should have read more carefully, sorry.

Please note my edit above - don't want you ordering the wrong thing because of me!

I have the Arya Stealth and the Youkamoo 6.6ft black XLR cable for it was $25 on Amazon and looks and sounds great. Same sound as stock. I have the Hart Cables multi kit, but prefer the beefier build of Audiophileninja cables, just thicker and less prone to tangling.
