so you are saying the zero amp would be worth it if it sells for $100 and not worth it if it sells for more...

Are you selling one brand new one for $100?

Many quality DAC's and amps are made in China. The Zero just doesn't have a great history.

i have a zero dac 2009 and its fine. its not bad. its not good either. imo spend abit more money on audio-gd's stuff like compass or the new FUN when curra does a review on it.

What is the quality of the usb? Is it capable of 24 bit/192 khz as well?

I'm looking to get a DAC in the 100-200 range as well and have my eyes on the Zero with the Sun v.2, but I've read that the usb on DACs tend to be of a lesser quality than the other inputs, even on the same machine.

The usb is only so-so. It has an output of 16bit/48kHz. You're better off using the coax for better output. The output via coax is 24bit/192kHz, although I've been told by coolfungadget(a member of the trade here) that it's actually 24bit/96kHz.
