Is the Yuin G2A worth the price? It doesn't seem to come up often, more people seem to choose the portapros / px100s over them. How about the G1A? Are there any better alternatives for the price?

Thanks in advance.

The G2A is pretty new (compared to the PortaPros/PX100s that is), which would explain why it isn't too popular. IMO there is no better overall on-ear portable headphones for $50 than the yuin G2A. They are easily worth the money.

Yes, it compares favorably. I am still in the middle of adding the G2A's to my review thread, but I have found that it nearly matches the PX100s (which I find to have a wider soundstage than the PortaPros).

Thanks for all your help! Just one last question - I'm planning to pair the G2A with a Sansa Clip. Would this be a good combination? I've heard of the impressive quality the Clip produces, although i'm a bit weary of it's power output. Should I get a different mp3 player / Fiio?

The G2A sounds just fine out of my Clip/Fuze. Imo the G2A benefits very little from amping (as opposed to the G1A). PX100s like being amped a lot more.

I'd have to agree with what the others have said. I don't regret spending the $50 on the G2A's. For clip ons, I think they sound pretty good. I end up using them quite a bit.

My Fuze and Clip power the G2A's fine.
