Been out of the portable gear for past 2- 3 years or so. Buddy I sold my pioneer dap to a few years ago damaged it and needs a replacement dap. He is on a tight budget. Would a 200.00 new x5 iii still be a viable option in 2021?

He doesn't stream music, so all music is on SD card. He also had a few movies on the pioneer, but not sure the x5iii is up for that. He uses 3.5mm and Bluetooth full sized cans. Not very good ones though.

So what say you in 2021 for around 200.00 usd.
