I am considering an upgrade and love these dac/amp combos. Just wondering how would the sound quality be improved with investment.

The Nuforce HDP is great upgrade over E7/E9 because it offers better soundquality than Fiio with more power.

Thank you very much, though I think E9 is already very powerful for my headphones. probably the dac section is a big upgrade.
