I think the modern version is the SE535. It has a better cable and a few minor tweaks to the design, but the sound signature is intact. For a non-custom I think the SE535 is tops for me.
If you like the sound signature of the SE530 you might want to checkout the Earsonics SM3 V2. It has the same sound signature pretty much as the Shure but it does it in a better way imo.
If money is really no object go for the FitEar To Go 334, its only around $1300 but its said to be one of if not the best universal IEM you can get.
