I have heard 3 headphones for a brief moment, the sa3000, koss esp950 and the he60. The sony sounded quite interesting as it was very detailed and bright. I din't really like it anyway.

Speaking from memory, yes. Possibly even brighter than SA5000. Atleast thats what I remember reading about them.

If you do not like it,then do not buy it.
Such a shame that you did not enjoy your brief moment.
Still tomorrow is another day.

This is the 1st time I heard the SA3000 and unfortunately the shop doesn't have SA5000. Among the headphones I have experienced so far, SA3000 seem to be the brightest sounding hp and it was kind of similar to w5000/1000's sound signature. The senn he60 that i have heard was fast and detailed but the tone was kinda lean. The Koss ESP950 w the stock amp on a cd player sounded smooth and forward but nothing special. These 3 headphones except the koss were not avaliable in my location till now so I went to listen to them to quench my curiosity.
