Looking for portable DAC/amp to use with iPhone 5s out and about, and MacBook Air while at home. Using PM-3 headphones. I like how Oppo doesn't require the extra canaria connection kit and whatnot...does Teac? Any thoughts on the two vs each other would be appreciated.

The Teac, on their site, says that it's "Made For" iPad, iPod, and iPhone. The compatibility list has all the i products.

So, yes, it supports the iPhone 5s.

As far as which to get that's based on your sound preferences. Do you want Burr or Sabre?

I would say that the Teac is a fine amp/DAC and that the OPPO isn't worth 2x the price.

So you have heard both?
