You'll likely hear a difference. Whether it's worth $300 is a different question, though. My advice is wait for the PINT to come out.

The newest DIY'er. Looks pretty good, and soon enough someone on the forums will probably be building and selling them, or you could build it yourself if you're good with tools for less.

Here's my take. Will you ear a difference between the two? Yes. Is it worth 300 bucks? That's something only you can decide.

Having heard the RSA Hornet with my HD595, and comparing them with my Echo Indigo sound card (which I got for $110 used), I would say absolutely not. But I have no idea how much better my sound card is over a PA2V2.
