FYI the weight (incl. cable) of Alessandro MS-2's (old generation) is about 0.284 kg (0.626 lb). "Plastic Grado", SR-80's has approx. 0.216 kg (0.476 lb).

Where can you buy the new MS-2's? They don't seem to be on the Alessandro website.

I called alessandro and they told me they have the newer ones. So I ordered them.

the newer 325i's seem to weigh more then the silver 325's yes, but the sound is improved to..so take the good and with the bad.

are they uncomfortable?
you have to learn how to wear them, long periods of metal grados can become painful if your not wearing them right. for example if the top headband hurts after awhile then you need to take off some pressure on the headband, if your ear are hurting after awhile then you need to put more of the weight on the headband.
it takes awhile to bend and find the right pads to have great sonics and comfort but once you find it youll never look back.
