I was reading the ASUS websites and I came across the Essence ONE MUSES edition which uses Muses 01 Op-Amps. Asus says they're the worlds best Op-Amps for music. I was wondering if it was a good idea to use Muses Op-Amps in the Essence ST/STX. Has anyone tried it or does anyone think its a good idea? It's $69.99 each (need 2) and a little pricey but is it one of the worlds best Op-Amps?

What does it mean the best opamp in the world?
You stick it in the socket and your dac magically turns into high end?
This is just marketing, the more expensive the opamp the more color to the sound, which IMO is ok, just like tube rolling, unless you spend hundreds of bucks in opamps, that`s silly,
I cant turn my Mitsubishi into a Ferrari even if I buy Ferrari gear shift knob[size=x-small].[/size]

Muses 01 are supposed to make a quite noticable difference in SQ according to those who have upgraded their Essence one amps but I guess it's like most things in the Hi-fi world... only you can decide if it's money well spent.
 
Re- Aliexpress, I'd be extremely cautious as there are fake Muses 01 op amps about,
