Hi all,
I need your advices as I'm planning to buy a Beyerdynamic DT 880 (2005 edition, 250 ohms). I really like the HFI 780 and ESW9 I own, but as I read here and on other forums, the 880 is very well balanced and neutral, with great spatialization. I think it could be a good addition to my collection.
The only thing I'm wondering now is : will my ALO Rx amp be enough to drive this DT 880 ? Will I get the maximum out of this headphone with that combo ?
I can't afford a tube amp for now, even if I know that the DT880 pairs well with them. If the Rx is not enough, I'll maybe wait to get a more powerful amp before buying it.
