Is someone interested by a X3 mod to make it easy for simple people like me ?
There is only some CNC machining anodized aluminium and dual layer PCB with contacts to do !
Same thickness and functionalities, just keys layout.

Not anything I'd be able to do as wouldn't know where to start plus I don't have the equipment. But if these were ever produced and sold I'd buy one

EASY (relatively)
Remove the contacts and weld a little PCB with new contacts layout.

 
HARD :
Remove the little aluminium face plate (under the screen) and hollow out the chassis

 
 
All the rest is glued.
New black anodized little faceplate and natural anodized buttons.
