Is RCA outputs line level? I ask this because I don't want to accidentally double amp when connecting from RCA outputs to active speakers.

In the vast majority of cases, yes it's line level, but there are exceptions.
Some budget equipment have speaker level outputs using RCA connectors.
Some legacy pre-amps have RCA tape-head outputs and/or inputs (very low level).
Some RCA connectors have digital outputs.

Thanks for the response, are you able to tell if the RCA outs under the AUX1 here are line level or speaker level?

I really don't want to have speaker level rca outputs and then plug those into active speakers, amping twice and blowing something
