Is Presonus HP4 an acceptable amp for high-end headphones like HD600?

So, I have the 4-channel Presonus HP4 amp and I use it to drive my headphones. It's nice to share the experience with somebody else, and I love to be able to listen to the same symphony (I only listen to classical music) with someone. There are very few words about the HP4 amp on this site. I hope somebody can comment.

My signal chain is simple: Laptop (Mostly WAV files) > Presonus Hp4 > headphone (DT990 and/or HD600)

I know there are more expensive amps out there, but considering I don't like spending money for marginal improvements, is this an acceptable set-up that won't compromise much in terms of listening experience?

I'm curious as well.

From what've read though, it's not good for less sensitive cans like the HD600/650.
