Hi.I currently own HD 595s as my main cans,and although I like them in general,it would be interesting to know if I'm missing something by not trying higher Senns,like 580 or 600.Who thinks that would be a significant upgrade? My amp is ldm+...

I too started with the HD595 and then got curious so I upgraded to the HD600. I also bought the HD650 cable and then moved on up to cardas. I've kept the HD600 with the cardas and absolutely love it. In terms of amps, I can't say much for you with the LD+ but with the right amp, the HD600 is fantastic. Much deeper, fuller sound with a larger soundstage. I like the depth of the 580/600s over the 595 but that might also make it more laid back. The detail resolution of these two phones is great but maybe I should let those with your amp let you know if it's sufficient.
