I know there have been many people burnt by Singlepower. Has anyone ordered or received any new goods from Singlepower lately?

Mikhal has emailed me that I can pay via paypal for a new Extreme. I am suprised that he still has a Paypal account if he has not been delivering new goods.

If I pay with paypal and dont receive the amp, cant I make a claim.

I most likely will NOT buy a Singlepower amp with all the uncertainty, but was tempted for about a day in pulling the trigger.

It is now down to a Woo 2, Rudistor NX-03 or Slee SRG Slo to go with my Grado 1000i

HA! He still owes me my Extreme. The problem with paypal I believe is that after a given period of time, you can't make a claim?

Thats why I decided not to go ahead. I was just curious as to why he still had a paypal account? He didnt ask for direct debit or money order, so at first I thought it may be safe.

As far as i can see, you can't make claim at all, if you don't buy that article from eBay.

Edit: Actually i was wrong and you can make a claim for non-ebay articles, according the "PayPal Buyer Complaint Policy". But there is no guarantee that you get your money back.

If you want an Extreme, you can try to find one in the FS forum.

A very nice member sold me her Extreme with NOS tubes for $500 + an AKG K501.

How can it be safe? You know you will get screwed. There are other amp makes out there, move on, no one wants to see you get burned.

There was a SP Extreme Platinum for sale in the UK - might be worth a search/contact

Why play with the fire? Singlepowers are not end-of-all amps anyway, it has enough competition in the price range.
