Is there any way to do this?

I figured I can hook the audio cables up to some speakers, but how can i connect the video port?

Also, If I do get all the PS2 cords connected, where do I go to show what is playing. (For example when you hook it up to the tv, you got to video 3 or av 4...etc.)

Can this be done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

This only can be done if your laptop has a video in port. If you really want to do something like this, an external capture card might work (provided you have a program to view the capture in realtime).

LOL. A $1000 Grado PS2.

700 (rs1) - 500 (rs2) = 200 ($ diff. of rs1 & 2)
1400 (ps1) / 700= 2
2 * 200 = 400
1400 - 400 = 1000 (what I think a Grade PS - 2 would cost)

Yes, there are USB 2 TV tuners. These usually have S-Video, and Composite video inputs. Some models even have component inputs.

a USB TV tuner shouldn't run more than $60 or so. Leadtek makes a USB model, as well as various PCI models. They work very well, as I use one regularly (got rid of my TV even).

Do a search for TV Tuner on newegg and several should come up.

Whouldn't
(RS2 / RS1) = (PS2 / PS1)
(RS2 / RS1) * PS1 = PS2
($500 / $700) * $1400 = $1000
Be more correct?

* is times...

Yours is more mathematical than mine. (RS2/RS1)PS1=PS2

EDIT: Actually, both of ours is equally mathematical, I think we just used different theories...

hi dan
i connect my ps2 to a portable dvd player with a cable i made. it is a ps2 cable (composite video) with the rca jacks cut off. i soldered a 4 pole 1/8" av plug in it's place. if your laptop has a camcorder-style 1/8" av jack this might work.
