I was looking to pick up some IEMs for running/going to the gym.

I have a pair of cans (Beyerdynamic DT1350), and I think it would be a bit ridiculous to run with them.

However, I sweat a lot when I run, so I am concerned my sweat might ruin a pair of Custom IEMs if I go that direction.

So, is it ill-advised to run with Custom IEMs or if I clean them after exercising, should it be okay?

BTW: I am looking at the Alclair Reference Custom IEMs or the 1964ears V3s. I would like a similar experience to the DT 1350s, and I also use a FiiO E12 Mont Blanc portable amp.

Most IEMs are fine for working out. In fact they are what rock stars use during their performance with no damage to IEMs or ears. On the JH Audio website they brag about how much sweat their IEMs can take. I work out with my TG334's all the time. I don't always clean them but when I do I use Audio Wipes because alcohol-based cleaners break down the rubber tips and seals.
