Is it normal to have a slight rubbing in the volume dial of the SMSL 793 II DAC?

As the title says I got my SMSL amp dac 793 II today

Fantastic product insane value for money, totally aluminum for $64 insane beauty.

However there is this slight rubbing when you turn the volume button as if the aluminum didn't cut perfectly with the laser.

This makes the volume turning a bit stiff. Certainly nothing like how quality volume dial feels same with the power button you can feel it grind on the aluminum when you press it and if you look closely you will see its not aligned properly.

IT feels like it fits the price and more of a small startup company with not so great manufacturing machines assembling it.

Though the amp works perfect.

I've run into this a few times. I think most of the time they just press on the volume knob too far when putting it together. Usually you can pull on the knob a bit and it'll reduce or eliminate the rubbing.
