I just received my Um3x yesterday and the nozzle was all scratched up. Is this normal westone quality control?
Is it normal for the Um3x nozzel to be all scratched up?

No it obviously isn't normal.
If you got them from an authorised dealer send them back and get some replacements.

My UM2 came with air bubbles all over the nozzle

I didn't any bubbles on my UM2. Even though I don't think it affects sound quality, I'd also recommend OP to ask for another one if it's from an authorized dealer.
