Most likely people are just reluctant to post bad reviews. Compounding to this is the fact that difference among amps are small compared to phones. Often, the difference is in the vicinity of matter of preference. It's hard to see how one could bash amps based solely on listening. Things are difference if there's some obvious flaws in the design.
