Is it me or is the Ray Samuels Audio website confusing?

I was poking around a little while ago and was looking to (possibly) buy, or at least price, one of his fine amps.

Clicked the purchase button. Brought to a page displaying all his items and prices.

Looked at the SR-71 amp (my god! $1200!!!).

Where do I purchase something?! No order form, no paypal contact. nothing.

Anyone else run into this problem?

(Also, The Apache isn't even listed, nor is the B-52 or specs for the SR-71 listed)

It's best to just give him a call or email him. His contact info is there.

To the point of the subject of your post, I agree - his site does leave something to be desired. I think he's a bit too busy to keep it up to date and work on it.

I also feel the need to say that I'm NOT bashing Ray at all. He seems like a great guy who genuinely loves what he does!

I think Ray does a lot of business by phone, he's a fun guy to chat with. His site is ready for a overhaul... a "add to cart" and "checkout" setup would be nice. In the meantime you can always call him and get the skinny.

Oh, how I can understand where you are coming from stating this.

Personally, I didn't get the impression you were.

Stay tuned in the (very) near future for a new website rollout. While there won't be any serious e-commerce functionality, it should be clearer in its layout and Ray is able to manage the content himself on the fly.

I emailed him once a while ago and he said he did not need any help improving his site as he had someone working on it. I have yet to see the fruit of that labor, but I guess something will be ready soon?

His site probably is confusing, because the SR-71 is listed at $395.00 for me!

Ray is soooo darn busy building amps that Im sure if he had the time to dedicate to updateing it would be done already. I even offered to help him with it but I guess he has a guy.

I like to call em anyway he just loves to hear my voice LOL!

Hi Uncle Ray! LOL! (NO! he is not my Uncle!)

It's not as bad as ALO's old website. Man that thing was hard to navigate.
