I notice that when I use the white ear tips on Etymotic headphones, they have less volume and highs that if I have the foamies on.
I'm able to get a good seal with either tip.
Anyone else hear this?

Maybe the front of the rubber tip (where the opening is) gets deformed somehow in your canal (too deep?), and closes off the opening slightly. Try backing off a bit. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that would cause a loss in both volume and highs.

Hmmm... could be just you, or your white tips.

That doesn't sound odd to me. I get better sound from the white tips. others prefer the foam tips.
