For the past few days I've noticed that when I try to rip my cd's, eac is telling me that the freedb server is down (actual statement is, "Can't Connect to Host"). It was working fine the last time I was ripping some cd's which was about a week ago.

At first I thought it was just eac, but mediamonkey is giving me the same error. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it my setup?

I've noticed the same thing with EAC, I can't access anything from the website and it won't categorize my ripped CD's. I sent them an email about this but haven't heard back yet.

Freedb isn't down because I can still access it with Foobar. I can't access it with EAC either.
