Hey guys,

so I decided to use aptX from now on on my computer, my components will be:

USB Dongle: http://www.logilink.eu/Produkte_LogiLink/Bluetooth/USB_Adapter/Bluetooth_40_Adapter-USB_20_Micro-Class_1.htm?seticlanguage=en
Receiver: http://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/AEA2700_12/bluetooth-adapter

I also read the Blueooth-features in Windows 10: https://msdn.microsoft.com/windows/hardware/commercialize/design/component-guidelines/bluetooth

As I understand it, it says that Windows10 has aptX onboard if you have a dongle that supports it.

So if I will get both components tomorrow, do I have to install some extra software or can I just use plug&play, which would be awesome?

Thanks guys!
Greetings from Germany

In theory, you don't need to install anything. In practice, however, it is often hard to say if aptX is actually being used. There are some headphones that explicitly indicate the operating mode (like Audio-Technica ones).
