I understand that Amazon has been accused numerous times of sending fakes to its buyers, however this major company couldn't risk doing something like this in my opinion?
 
I want to order a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50's for Christmas and this is truly the only site that offers both a price of $100 and a shipping of 2 days.

Amazon is an authorized dealer for almost every headphone brand. The ones you should be wary of is the "sold by blahblahblah electronics and FULLFILLED by Amazon" This means that the seller simply sends the item to Amazon, who then pack it and ship it to you, they don't not check the authenticity of the product nor if the seller is an authorized reseller of that product. They will still help you out with disputes and resolve the issue, but it's an unnecessary hassle to deal with.
 
It's safe to say that you really cannot go wrong with a product that Amazon sells directly, HOWEVER those headphones are NOT directly sold by Amazon, they are simply fulfilled by them.
 
 
Guess what? B&H is having a free 2-Day shipping deal. And at a lower price than Amazon!
