Hi, I have a mainboard MSI FM2-A55M-E33

with Apu AMD processor and a power supply Cooler Master G550M.

I am initiating me in these audiophiles topics

, and I am determined to upgrade components that affect the quality of audio that delivers my PC, I have doubts whether due to the simple/cheap manufacture of my mainboard there is a possibility that the performance of the Sotm PCI usb card is not satisfactory compared to other mainboards type high-end or gamer type.

After hearing sonic differences in USB and SATA cables, I get the question if the same happens for the signal traveling through the mainboard to pci port.

a thanks in advance

I highly doubt that there are any sonic differences caused by changing your USB or SATA cables. Same thing for your motherboard. I suggest you spend your time and money on upgrading your headphones, amp, and DAC instead, in that order.
