Is a Digidesign Mbox 2 good enough for Sennheiser HD599?

Hello.

I recently got a pair of the HD599's and I was wondering if my Mbox2 is good enough to drive them. Or is it better to use the on-board audio on my Maximus Hero VIII motherboard? Or should i invest in something else entirely?

Any help is appreciated :)
