Yea. I think the reviewers are exaggerating (a lot) on these cans. I've tested them and they don't sound as described.
 

 
Give me some irking ads. They can be from Beats, Bose, whatever you desire.

Head-fi doesn't choose all their ads. Some ads shown are usually determined by the kind of content the user tend to visualize or the sites you check often (in our case headphones) you shouldn't be surprised that skullcandy paid a lot to show their headphones to all of those users reading about headphones.
