Anyone have the iFP-900s series player? I just ordered the IFP-999 version and wanted some insights from those who already own one. I also ordered the Shure e2c earphones!

Wouldn't you say that those players are just a bit pricey? $300 for 1GB storage? I'll pass.

Actually I got it for $270 ($300 w/ tax & shipping). Mind you it is a flash-based player so the price will be higher then harddrives. But at $270, it does seem to be dwarfed by the 20gigers at similar prices.

It fits my purpose though, I use it exercising and other physical activities.

What makes it $170 better than the other 1 gig flash drives out there? Is it just cosmetics?

it has a color screen but it uses an internal battery.

what 1gb flash players are available for $100?

The Creative 1 gb player is under 200 but it doesn't support ogg if that matters..

There are lesser brands that go on sale once in a while for around $130 or so. I was thinking of the $300 price tag. That's interesting for the battery.
