Turns out that the H320 can play videos, all u need is the new firmware. Not sure if the American versions can though, and if the European firmware upgrade can also upgrade them too.

1. Video Playback

The new feature enables video playback through H300 series' LCD display.
The following video formats are supported.

Codec XviD MPEG4 (recommend XviD 1.0.2 codec)
Resolution 220 x 176 only
Frame Rate 10fps at Maximum
Bit Rate 500Kbps at Maximum(recommend under 450Kbps)

yes it plays with the new firmware 1.25. I get audio sync problems though, however need still some practising with virtualdub...
