It has a range from 0-6 and I really really have to listen hard to tell any one notch apart from the other
After a few days of playing with all of my new H320's feature, pictures, USB, etc , I started to realize "hey, its a MUSIC player!" I whipped out my Dell DJ and wow, it sounds so nice and crisp compared to the Iriver. The H320 doesn't even do OGG vorbis files justice. There is a huge improvement over mp3's at high frequencies when playing OGG files through my high end audio card on my PC (or even my laptop), but the H320 just doesn't do OGG vorbis files justice. Sounds like treble starts rolling off around the 10-12Khz range
The H320 is definately the gangster rap mp3 player of choice though. Lots of boomy bass when you turn up the bass boost. A tell tail sign is the Bass boost having a 0-24 range and treble boost having a measly 0-6 range
