Hi,
I was planning to buy the first generation 2gb iriver clix for $100 from B&H, but I just noticed that there's a 2gb version of the clix gen 2 for just $140 on the iriver website. Do you think that I should get the gen 2, or is their not enough difference between them to warrant an extra $40?

I've played with both, and the Clix 2 is a definite improvement. The form factor is far better and the UI is much snappier (no delays at all) in the second version. Not to mention the Clix 2 looks way better

I heard the 1st generation is better at using with srs wow than 2nd gen. but 2nd gen. is more successfull at flat eq and also it is more efficient at using custom eq. I have heard them from a person that had used U10, clix and clix2.

So, which is the better sounding unit? Or do they have the same sound with different features? Thanks
