So I found this several years ago when reading more about The Conet Project, and I remember it about once a year. It might be of interest to some people here.
Basically, Irdial-Discs operates under an open content, or free music philosophy, which seems to be modeled somewhat after the GNU public license. So they've released their entire catalog for download: Irdial-Discs A212 Version 2.
It's pretty much all electronic, and not really my thing, but I thought there might be some members here that could find a gem or two. However, even if the music isn't for you, check out "The Conet Project" (about 3/4 of the way down the list); it's 4 discs of "numbers stations" recordings that are fascinating, weird, and sometimes downright creepy.
