Disclaimer: my iMod is up for sale since I'm upgrading to a Hi-Res capable player
It's not exactly a fair comparison since the iMod needs an external amp. I have just recently bought a Mojo but I don't have a mini to mini cable at hand to compare both lineouts, also my other DACs are chipless so I cannot really make a fair comparison of the Wolfson sound against other chips.
To me it does sound a bit towards warm compared to the Mojo (which could also be an effect of my amp), which I find quite enjoyable for low level listening with IEMs. The line out is very clean and the fact that there are no amps in the output path is a big advantage for feeding an external amp. Not sure how many players do the same...
