iPod w/ 21.5 hour battery life?

yeah i think they've had those for quite a while now. We've yet to see them do the same with the 3rd and 4th gens.

My fault, I didn't see that they were made for 1st/2nd generation iPods. Surely the manufacturer isn't far away from making them available to subsequent generations.

damn that is nifty.

if only it was available for 4'th gens and was the same size as the original battery.

The first and second generation iPod's use larger batteries. The 3rd and fourth generation try and save space. I reallyd oubt you could make a *much* better battery than what the iPod already has. Space constraints.

I'd love to have a 20 hour iPod, but considering that I'd have to replace the failed hard drive too, I suppose it's not worth it. For $200 I could get something else. But it's very tempting. I'd do it if only 2Gs magically got on-the-fly playing.
