I have both the Contour Showcase and the Otterbox for my iPod photo - they are both great cases. The Otterbox is total protection for your iPod - great build quality - lots of good compliments when I use it outdoors or traveling. Great drop protection too, and the case doesn't scratch easily.

The Showcase is also top quality - I like it for the bottom port and headphone access - never have to take it out of the case for syncing or charging. Only minor gripe is that there is nothing covering the click wheel, so a click wheel protector might be a good idea when using this case. Other than that minor consideration, this case also offers great protection for your investment, and looks good IMO.

I had an iSkin cover before and wasn't too pleased with it. Even more so once I got my iMod and amp. If you are looking for something that suits a iMod iPod and makes it ultraportable I suggest the Incase Multifunction Sport Case.

Stay the hell away from Agent 18's clear cases -- for $30, you'll get a cheap injection-molded piece of polycarbonate that scratches up the sides and comes apart on impact. It looks pretty snazzy up 'til then, though.

And if you're using your line out with Moon Audio's Silver dragon or any of his designs, watch the openings for your connections. Many of the cases won't fit Drew's line out attachments. If this is the fact, contct Moon Audio for Drew's case recommendations

Or open up the hole with a dremel tool, or with files, or with a sharp knive.
