So I just picked up a new 64gb ipod touch, and I can't seem to get my line out adapters to work? I plug it in and the sounds still comes out of the internal speaker and not out of the line out?

Has anyone else used these with a line out?

Thanks

Thanks -

that kind of blows, since I have a really nice adapter from moon audio that doesn't work...

I'm not handy - do you know if is there a new adapter available to purchase somewhere that is backward compatible with other ipods also?

As far as I know, any LODs with the resistor will still work with older iPods.

And just to note, you would connect pin 11 to ground (15/16) and then connect that using a 68k ohm resistor to pin 21.

I got a nice one from iBasso with my D10. It is on their website for 35 dollars.

Hum, my LOD working fine with 3GS and iPod 2nd gen ...

If you are not all about soldering, consider this one, i got it, and i like it ...

Not too pricey:

I did this.. took like 5 mins.. easy as pie.. and allowed me to use a nice LOD again on my Touch 2G. cost about 20 cents

It would be fine, though I'd better have a dock lineout line. I guess 2G and 3G iPt have changes (may be terminal defination) in the dock. I saw the PCBs of those and they're really different.
