I have a 3rd gen Ipod touch. I typically never upgrade the firmware if I am fine with the quality. So that is while I sill rock firmware 3.1.2. I was wondering if there is a reason I should update to the latest version 5.1.1. Has there been any updates that have improved sound quality? This is the only thing of importance to me.
By the way a friend listened to my Ipod touch on a trip and said that the volume on the older firmware gets 15 percent louder than the newest updates.
