Just picked up a 128GB iPod Touch 6th Generation and wondered what my options for line out are?

With my old Classic, I was using a Sendstation Pocketdock which had a 3.5mm line out option on it.  I can't use that on this new iPod Touch since the Touch now uses the Lightning plug.

I suppose I can get a Lightning to 30-pin adaptor and then plug the Pocketdock into that, but it's putting a lot of strain on the Lightning plug at that point (something I don't want to do).

What are my other options?  Does anyone like ALO or similar make a line-out cable that has the Lightning plug end on it?

Otherwise, I'm limited to using the headphone out of the Touch for amping, which in essence is double amping, since the iPod amp is pushing the headphone out.

I was wondering, since I haven't purchased an amp yet.  Haven't amped anything for a long time and am just getting back into portable hifi audio after quite a few years off.

I'll most likely start with a Stevovee CMoy amp.

It looks like I can get a lightning to 30-pin adaptor cable rather than an adaptor piece for under $10 that would put much less strain on the lightning output on the Touch.  Then I could get a similar 30-pin to 3.5mm cable for under $10 to run from the 30-pin to the input on the CMoy.

For the lightning to 30-pin, can I get one that's just has the lightning adaptor, like this:

...or do I need to get one that's lightning + 3.5mm on one end and the 30-pin adaptor on the other end, like this?:

I could probably grab one of each since they're so inexpensive, but no sense in grabbing the one w/ the 3.5mm if I don't need to.

I have the same question as the OP about how to get a line out from an iPod Touch 6.  Any updates since the last posting?

I found this for the older wide connectors --  http://www.head-fi.org/a/diy-ipod-line-out-dock-pinout -- but the nothing similar for the little connector on the iPod Touch 6.  I also came across articles saying that the iPod Touch 6 has no analog audio output on that connector.  Is that true?  If so, then the apparent solution of getting an adapter to the wide connector, and attaching that to a line out adapter cable couldn't work, could it?  If there's no analog output on the "lightning" port, you'd either have to use the headphone jack, or use an external D/A converter, no?
