This has been asked before, but my searching has only brought up threads from years ago.
 
Anywho, whats the best method of transferring music to an ipod without iTunes? CopyTrans? No drag and drop methods yet?
 
Also, im assuming I will be able to put non itunes music on it? As I download a lot of DJ live sets/podcasts. Only asking because of the 'Apple Ecosystem', it can be quite restrictive sometimes. And this is my first Apple product, even though I said id never buy one!

I believe you can use media monkey instead of itunes.

CopyTrans Control also works well. Just follow the install
