I'm in the market for an Ipod speaker. I know none of them will sound at least close to my headphone setup, but i need one for my little parties.
Any recommendation is appreciated. I own an 2nd gen. Nano and a Classic. Video output would be great, but i'm willing to sacrifice it for audio quality.
I've researched a little bit and found 2 speakers that caught my interest:
  1. Chestnut Hill Sound George
  2. Logitech Pure-Fi Elite
Neither of them is compatible with last generation ipods video playback. Are any "high end" ipod speaker video compatible that might worth the check?
For those whom own or have listened this speakers, are they really good?

I've been very happy sound-wise with the Audioengine 5 in a really cool black

It doesn't have an iPod dock, but it has 2 convenient line in jacks for your iPod LOD

For a very big sound from a very small footprint, try to audition the Porto
Audio Pro - sound, science and style
I love mine (Red)! The stereo separation is obviously not great but ppl always are amazed by the clear sound from this box. The manufacturer does not expect they will be able to get video out till 2nd quarter of '08 unfortunately.

Well, i ended up getting the George.
Will hopefully get it by january 5th. Can't wait for it to arrive. I know it's a lot of money, but the convenience of the remote and the sound quality convinced me to buy it. Fingers crossed for the quality ...
