I just got my Ipod working in my car but one of the things I realized that could be a problem is accidentally leaving the ipod running after I'm done driving. Is there a way I can setup my ipod so that it automatically shuts down if it's left on for a half an hour, an hour, etc. ?

There is a sleep timer in /extras/clock/sleep timer.

The location and way it's worded, I thought it was the same type of sleep timer you'd find on the radio or TV. Play/watch for 15 minutes and it'll shut off automatically.

I wish I could remember who makes it or link you to it but I'm sure i've heard some people mention an in car cigarrette adapter that will tell the IPOD to shut off when you turn the engine off. That sounds like what you are looking for. Sory I can't be of more assistance.

I'm sure the sleep timer will work but it sounds like a bit of a pain.

That automatic lighter thing seems pretty cool though.
