do you know if the ipod photo (with belkin media reader) is capable of storing files other than images (like, Word documents or Excel files, or text files ...)
You actually don't need the Belkin adapter if you plan on storing files and documents from your computer. Just go into iTunes and turn on "Disk mode" and your iPod should appear as a regular removable hard drive in My Computers (if your a Windows user) or your Desktop (if your a Mac user). From there you just open it up like any other hard drive and drag and drop your files. Just make sure not to delete any folders that are already there, as they are needed for your iPod to funciton properly. Also as a note you won't be able to drag and drop your music even with Disk mode as the iPod uses a database file system.
