iPod photo question

Do you need to have s-video on your TV to transmit pictures to your TV? If you only need to have a RCA input jack, do you still need to have a cable from apple to connect you photo iPod to it?

I don't know for sure, but to transmit video/images, I think you either need S-Video (Photo dock S-Video to S-Video on TV) or the cable at the bottom of this page (assume that's composite video).

You can do either RCA Audio/Video or S-video.
The iPod RCA plugs either into the dock or the headphone out.
The RCA needs to be a cable made specifically for the iPod.
The S-video plugs into the dock.

This is quite cool, 'cos you don't realise you can get video out of the headphone jack

So, the RCA needs to be a cable made specifically for the iPod unless your using the headphone jack to RCA right?
