i have a smart playlist on my ipod set up in the same way as i do in for my full music library. this list just displays the most recent [insert arbitrary number here] files added to the list. it's really handy for finding files in my full library (though i'm not that happy about podcasts being listed in it) but on my ipod it's only vaguely useful. since it sorts based upon date added to the itunes library file, if i add an 'old' song to my ipod, it wont show up on this list.

anyone have any idea how to make a smart playlist of "most recent songs added to the ipod"

i could do this manually, just dropping the files onto the playlist when i add them to the ipod and deleting some when i dont feel they're 'new' enough, but where's the fun and convenience in that?
