It looks just like a shuffle - with a scroll wheel and a color screen. And it can be 4Gigs. And you can get it in black. This is going to be a monster hit.

The iPod nano is very impressive! Im am very enthusiastic about this product release as well is iTunes 5.0 (currently running). Although I am excited about these new lifestyle products, I hope that Apple returns to developing and innovating their computers as rapidly as possible.

Cheers,
iDesign

And apparently the dock can incorporate the buds this way:

So, does it have all the same "functions" as the Mini, or is it crippled in anyway? First iPod I've ever liked the looks of.

it looks like it takes a normal 1/8 plug to me, in addition to having a dock/headphone out combo ability.

it probably has all the features of the ipod photo except av out and a remote port(I may be wrong on that but I dont know if theres enough room on the bottom for dock connector, headphone port, and remote port). I don't think they should have discontinued the ipod mini since it was so popular.

I have to say that thing looks unreal; if it sounds good I might be getting one. The dock connector if it is the same as the original ipods/ipod minis is just awesome.

The headphone out on the bottom of the unit isn't such a bad idea come to think of it, it just means you'd have to place the ipod upside down in your pocket.
